Option 11
In the summer
of 2003, forest fires destroyed 15 of the 18 wooden trestles through Myra
Canyon, east of Penticton. A reroute around that section of the trail is
in place until reconstruction has been completed in 2007.
As of August,
2004, the KVR has been slated for upgrading under the Spirit of 2010 Trail
development program funded by the BC government and the Trans Canada Trail
Foundation.
