Snowshoeing Option 1

Snowshoe Tours Daily @ Big White Ski Resort.

This tour begins with a pick-up in Kelowna or meet at Happy Valley. We transport to Big White Ski Resort. Here we get fitted to new style snowshoes for our trip into the wilderness. We will explore the blanket of snow along a multitude of routes designed for each group's fitness level.

We will see various tracks scattered along our trails, evidence of the winter activity of the local wildlife. We will have a fun time challenging ourselves, figure out what animals left which tracks? Your guide will have a field guide to help with the challenge. How did you do? Your guide will let you know.

The tour is approximately 2 hours of exploring. We stop along the route for a hot beverage and snack to warm our rosy cheeks. We then return to Happy Valley or to Kelowna if we transported you to Big White.

Good Morning Tour (easy)
9:30 a.m.

Meet at top of Gondola. Snowshoe on a mostly downhill direction to final destination the bottom of Gondola. Return

Afternoon Adventure Tour (moderate)
1:30 p.m.

Meet at bottom of Gondola. We will snowshoe down from Happy Valley and Explore.

Evening / Sunset Tour (easy)
4:30 p.m.
Departs from top of gondola - easy. Headlamps will be worn on this tour.

Full Moon Tours:
Mar 7 & Apr 5 @ 7p.m.

Tour includes: Guide, Rentals, Snacks and Water.
